FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) are a series of questions and answers all pertaining to a certain topic. "FAQ" is sometimes pronounced as an acronym, fack, and sometimes as the initialism F.A.Q. (Since it originated in the text medium of USENET, there is no agreed-upon pronunciation.)
The FAQ is an Internet textual tradition originating from periodic summary messages posted to USENET newsgroups in an attempt to reduce the continual reposting of the same basic questions. On USENET, posting questions which are covered in a group's FAQ is often considered inappropriate, as it shows that the poster has not done the expected background reading before asking others to provide answers. Some groups may have multiple FAQs on related topics, or even two or more competing FAQs explaining a topic from different points of view.
Memory Dump
Does pilot-link have anything which will assist me in
dumping memory from a PalmOS 5 type device out the
cradle port? What I mean by dump is that a raw image
of the PDA memory is extracted into a file, similar to
the ROM images for POSE under <= PalmOS 4. We are
doing kernel patches on ARM-based PDAs and need to get
heap space info. If this is not the appropriate forum,
try not to flame me too much, I am new to this forum...
just kindly point me the correct domain! Thanks.

No, this is not possible, I'm
No, this is not possible, I'm afraid. The protocol used in OS4 and earlier devices does not exist on OS5 devices.
Support for OS5, using the debug protocol, would have to be written and tested first.
Since there is no application that can use these ROM images, even if we were to be able to dump them, there is very little motivation to try to build such a tool/conduit.
Sorry.
