Hello all,
seems to be a problem out there using pilot-link via some USB ports.
Googleing doesn't help, so I am here now.
I have an IBM T40, SUSE 9.2, Kernel 2.6.8-24.10, pilot-link 0.11.8-126 and a Tungsten E.
pilot-xfer stops with
Listening to port: /dev/usb/ttyUSB0
Please press the HotSync button now...
lsusb loks pretty ok:
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0830:0060 Palm, Inc. Palm Tungsten T
in dmesg I get:
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using address 6
usb 2-1: Product: Palm Handheld
usb 2-1: Manufacturer: Palm, Inc.
usb 2-1: SerialNumber: PalmSN12345678
visor 2-1:1.0: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter detected
usb 2-1: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter now attached to ttyUSB0
usb 2-1: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter now attached to ttyUSB1
usb 2-1: control timeout on ep0in
My USB device (ttyUSB0) has all permissions set.
Am I missing something stupid?
Oliver
