My hard drive on my Acer died recently. I have taken this opertunity to mygrate to linux. I found a copy of openSUSE and after some ado managed to boot up. One thing is clear, I have been spoilt by Windows. I have some questions that I would be happy to have answers to.
1) My laptop takes a long time to get to login. What I have noticed is that the laptop only see's half of my RAM, is this a hardware propblem or does the software have something to do with this?
2) I am now faced with the task of fitting all my toys that I had before. I was wondering if there is a linux OS for my Palm m130 and what is the best palm management software that I can install to hotsink my Palm.
3) Is there a step by step tutorial on linux somwhere on the web that offers, in easy to understand, instructions on the basics of linux that does not assume that I am a software developer.
